His Hem

"And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself,If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole."-Matthew 9:20-21. What a wonderful state of faith to be in. How beautiful.

She didn't need an appointment with Jesus. She didn't need a sermon. She didn't even have to see His face, or feel His touch to love and know her redeemer.

Mother Teresa has said,"Love has a hem to her garment that reaches the very dust. It sweeps the stains from the streets and lanes"

May I touch His hem that sweeps the stains from my heart and softly caresses with love, so that I may touch the very dust of life and serve.

Peace,

Giorraíonn Beirt Bóthar

The journey has been fascinating, joyful, slow, fast, hard. It's been tear stained, smile stained, pain stained, stained with beauty, colored with joy. It's been walking side by side holding each others hand. Deep love and respect.

Twenty eight years from then til now. Sometimes a quick peek over our shoulder at where we've been, always moving forward with anticipation.I am so deeply pleased and thankful to share the road with you.

To the love of my life.
