It’s Christmas, Christ is with us. I wonder what it was like when Christ was with THEM for the first time and most didn't even realize who had arrived.
He’s with US. Most don’t even know He’s here.
I’m glad He came quietly. I’m glad He came without pretense, it makes it easier to trust Him.
God wrapped in human flesh in a stable. God as holy mystery. God as holy simplicity.
WE have complicated faith, truth with our lists of do’s and don’ts. WE’VE put God in many disguises so maybe THEY’LL like what they see.
He wasn’t in a palace. He wasn’t in the temple. He was in a stable.
Love is ALL.
